Time Away is a small collection of tracks made whilst traveling an unfamiliar continent for Owen D. Made either on trains, buses or in the cheapest rented apartments he could find over the course of three months.

Lake Side was created by a huge lake in Macedonia, portraying the conditions of the time. Safe to say it was probably a better holiday than your 3 day trip to Berlin which included you getting rejected by mr Sven at Berghain and complaining about how bad the scene is back home. Those String samples though... lining up hotter than some fiends lining up at a smokers area to purchase goods from your local dealer.

Break it up with Pure Feelings… throw some acid in a bag, maybe a whispering vocal sample and a stack of distortion. Shake it around until consistency is of ‘Crunch City’ and you got a tasty treat for a 3-5am dancefloor.

Back to the Lake Side vibes but this time Owen D found himself in the rough and grimy areas of Athens creating this track Time Away. Setting up camp in a neighborhood where “you never knew what you would see if you looked down a side street” you tend to bounce around and discover as he did in this tune. “Experience translated into music” we can feel the adventures he had making these curious and moody tracks that we like to call the best kind of music, telling stories with sound.
