The Newcastle mentalist Murg returns for his third trip round the madhouse, with three new cuts for the true believers of hardstyle. This new trilogy of tracks is designed to deliver ecstatic energy to those brave enough to maintain those heroic feats of dancefloor greatness. Title track “Cosmic Dreams” is a rewind worthy tune that reminds you why you're here in the first place. The intro gives way to a truly mega rave hook. Rinse and Repeat if you dare. Based on their titles you could say both “Illusions” and “Emptiness” catch Murg in a contemplative mood. You could but you’d be wrong. Illusions hits you like alien hieroglyphics meets Beverly Hills Cop chase sequence after a gigantic bong hit. It might seem like a lot but hey this is Murg we’re talking about and nothing wrong with getting a little extra “more” with your serve of Baltimore. I’m not sure how to describe “Emptiness”. Maybe it’s as close as Murg will ever come to writing a love song. That’s likely very inaccurate but I doubt anyone is reading this so let’s go with that anyway. So here it is. Murg the 3rd. Enjoy it as you like. For those that want to bang it out or just wish to dream, cosmically.
